WRITE AN IPOH SHORT STORY: with Julya Oui and Marc de Faoite

A hands-on workshop open to complete beginners as well as experienced writers. The aim is to craft and write at least the first draft of a short story using an Ipoh location, in the space of 24 hours. Selected stories will then be published on The Other Festival's website. 

To be jointly conducted by Julya Oui — author of BEDTIME STORIES FROM THE DEAD OF NIGHT (2011), HERE BE NIGHTMARES (2014) and the forthcoming THERE BE MONSTERS (2015); and Marc de Faoite, author of TROPICAL MADNESS (2013). Both writers are also in the anthology HUNGRY IN IPOH (Fixi Novo) which launches at The Other Festival.
