Asian Anthology: New Writing Vol. 1 - featuring a new story by Marc de Faoite

I'm delighted to have a story featured in this book.

Here's what one reader said:

"Marc de Faoite’s ‘Banu’, a powerful short story with an expansive thematic scope, was a force to be reckoned with. Exploring themes ranging from deforestation to greed, and corruption to physical and sexual abuse with a fine balance between boldness and subtlety, this phenomenal short story would appeal to fans of Jess Kidd’s exquisite novels … and more! I would even go so far as to recommend it to anyone who loves well-paced plots and fantastic dialogues, and well … just anyone who fancies reading a beautifully written, atmospheric and thought-provoking story really."

The book is currently available in ebook format from many retailers, including the FNAC here in France. It will soon be available in dead tree format both online and in brick-and-mortar bookshops.

I'm not linking to THE big online retailer for ethical reasons and I would strongly urge any responsible reader to buy from an equally responsible business. We build, at least in part, the world we want to live in with our wallets. Once I have some addresses of reputable booksellers stocking the book I will share them here and on Twitter.
